Fun In The Sun

We had a lot of fun this past weekend. We had another family boating expedition, this time with my mom's side of the family. Uncle Craig and Aunt Sheryl brought their boat too. These are some pics from that day. Chloe loves getting in the water now and splashing around. She did eventually get out of the water as Great Grandma was enticing her with food:)

Yes, No & I Don't Know

Chloe has recently started giving answers when we ask her questions. It is QUITE entertaining. For example on Sunday when asked if she had fun in nursery she replied "NO!" Many times her answers are pretty right on! Right now she either says yes, no, or don't know (which doesn't really sound like don't know but she puts her arms up in the air so it gets the point across!!). Boating

Chloe has started to love to go boating. She is also saying "boat" (and saying it appropriately unlike the sun and moon which she gets quite confused!!) which makes her daddy oh, so proud!! This past weekend we went boating with the Renaud's and had a blast. Chloe and cousin Corrina have yet to learn the art of sharing with each other so that was interesting and Kyle got his first experience pulling kids on a tube behind our boat (cousins Brett and Kaylee). My Uncle Arie and Aunt Elaine had their pontoon out so we grilled brats for dinner. I really like the pontoon experience--didn't even have to get into the water to go to the bathroom!!!

The Iowa State Fair

We had so much fun going to the state fair with my parents and Tasha. As you can see Chloe did her share of walking at the fair--she thought that was WAY better than riding in the stroller!! Although Grandma thought for sure she would turn around, miss independent Chloe traveled through a tunnel (top picture) near the agricultural building and a little boy (whom she didn't know at all!) helped her get to the end!

The Punts have a blog! Yes, I have become addicted to blogging lately! After reading multiple friend's blogs and LOVING them and then blogging with my bible study girls I have decided to get the Punt blog rolling!
