Garage Sale Fun!

This past weekend we had our first ever garage sale! We had a great turnout and had a lot of fun in the process. I couldn't believe that someone bought Kyle's childhood camera (which still had film in it!) for 25 cents!! It still amazes me what sells and what doesn't!! Here is a pic of Chloe and Malik "helping" prepare for the big sale!

A big THANKS to my Mom, Grandma, Sis, Dad, and Hubby for all the help:) I'm still laughing about my Grandma "buying" my mom's antiwrinkle cream for 50 cents and bringing it back the next day claiming that it didn't work...priceless!!!

Chloe's Bible Story

Fantasy Football & More

What a fun weekend we had! We celebrated my dad's birthday on Sunday by eating at the Linden House in Lynnville for brunch...very yummy! And this year Chloe wasn't nearly as loud (if you'll remember the funny pic of last year and her banging on everything!!!).

We also hosted the annual fantasy football draft at our new house...If I'm counting right we had 9 kids under the age of 3...it was fun and loud!! Chloe had fun dressing in her new Vikings cheerleader outfit. Caleb was also dressed in Viking's apparel but spit up on it before I got a pic:)

Here's a funny Chloe story from last night...she gets put in a timeout by Daddy (in a chair facing the corner) and for almost the entire 3 minutes of timeout is saying "I love you Mommy" in the sweetest voice ever...what do you do with that?!?

Labor Day Fun

We had a fun Labor Day weekend. We spent a lot of our time on the boat which made Chloe and Kyle VERY happy! On Sunday we spent the day with my family and on Monday the Gaulkes joined us. Chloe watched Brett and Kaylee's first attempt at skiing and decided that she too wanted to ski. As you can tell from the pictures she also loved helping Kyle drive the boat:) I think Mason liked boating...Although I don't know if he liked Chloe rubbing his head....I guess he didn't complain!! We now have a couple of tired (and rosy cheeks) kiddos!!

Me: (Wondering where she got this) Who's called you a pig?
Chloe: Munga!! (Her name for my mom) (Later I asked my mom if
she's ever called her a pig and she said no...who should we believe?!?)
